Counseling Service
Individuals enter counseling for a variety of reasons. The ultimate goal of the counseling relationship is to assist the client with achieving self-growth and empowerment. Penny Pennachi and Gene Middleton provide a safe and constructive environment for individuals to explore and identify personal barriers.
Life experiences, learned behavior, personal belief systems, grief & loss, addictions, trauma, codependency, and domestic violence can disrupt our ability to create a healthy life. Penny and Gene bring both education and personal experience to the therapeutic relationship — utilizing an eclectic, experiential counseling approach that includes cognitive restructuring, family systems, motivational and empowerment work, twelve-step philosophy, and addictions psychology.
Individual and group counseling areas include:
• ACOA & Codependency
• Addictions
• Family Systems & Family of Origin
• Abuse, Trauma & PTSD
• Parenting
• Relationship & Boundary Issues
• Anger & Domestic Violence (victim and perpetrator)
